DISTRIB
8x Stereo audio/video distribution router v2.1
DISTRIBUTION module is part of ATVRC repeater system. It was designed for
driving of multiple transmitters (DVB and analog) plus other AV devices
like: webcam, local monitors and links using main AV signal source. Module
could also work standalone with own syncho detection. Moreover, it produces
an simple PAL test pattern and test audio during repeater inactivity. In
software v2.0 repeater controller can select either internal AV generator
or external AV source for test signal. Therefore signal on microwave
ATV links can be easly monitored on all neighbouring repeater sites 24/7.
There are few buttons available for text programming. Three LED's will
show device status: yellow LED will shine if Sync. pulses on input detected,
Green LED will shine during LIVE vide pass, or it will flash if upper 4
output AV channels are disabled (/DIS) thus preventing local video content
to be transmitted direction links. Red LED will shine if there is no video
on input (test pattern will be generated), or it will flash if the EXTERNAL
AV source was selected as test pattern (/REM). These two pins are remotly
controlable from repeaters main computer.

VISW -
8 x 4 Stereo audio/video router
VISW module (mono) was designed years ago, primarly as main AV crossing
switch for ATV repeaters (S51KQ ATVRC system, and for repeater system
PONCOM designed by Andreas OE5PON). Years after, the Win95/98 VIPS
package was written to enable simple use at home with help of PC as main
controller.
And today - an new controller prototype was build. It now converts VISW
module to a stand alone 8 x 4 AV router with own keyboard and crossing
display. Plus it includes: ROLL function on all channels, fast Clear,
error detection, protection against not permited connections, all connections
can be memorized, and it will beep on each key pressed.
The new controller is designed to be assebled in to a standard 19" box,
1H high. Furthermore: old VISW mono module will be soon redesigned for
use with stereo audio channels. Stereo support is already build inside
of a new controller board ...
