Strong solar radio burst recorded by SIDI


Solar event


On  2014 Apr 02 1341 UTC, burst has been identified by SIDI, with antennas pointing 40° from the Sun.

The event was discovered when we were testing Marko's (s57uuu) SIDI fringe DSP searching tool, and the image was saturated at some point.The event is visible on DSP 24hr recording, with time on Y and fringe frequency on X (horizontal) axis.
